McAleer & Rushe walked away with the prestigious Health & Safety award in the coveted CEF Construction Excellence Awards which recognises the crème de la crème within the Northern Ireland Construction industry.

In its 20th year, the Awards Gala Evening was held on 16th October 2019 at the Crowne Plaza, Belfast. The company was awarded for their leading work to continuously advance and reinforce their Health & Safety systems and culture which provides a workplace where all staff, visitors and third parties can be confident of their safety at all times. This ultimately saw them become the first Northern Ireland Principal Contractor to gain the ISO 45001 accreditation in July 2018.

Hosted by the Construction Employers Federation, the awards also recognised an additional 16 category winners from across the construction industry in Northern Ireland for excellence in general construction, housing, infrastructure and quality performance.

McAleer & Rushe were also finalists in the Environmental Sustainability category and Commercial Construction for the Maldron Belfast City.
